Joseph and Robert Saglimbeni’s father Louis Saglimbeni opened the family’s first wine store in Geneva, New York, two days after the repeal of Prohibition.

The two brothers literally “grew up” in the wine business and have worked with Italian wine since the days of straw-flasked Chianti and red-checkered tablecloth, red-sauce restaurants where Valpolicella and Soave were featured on every wine list.

When they opened Saglimbeni Fine Wines in 1990, they created the first temperature-and-humidity-controlled outlet for fine wines in San Antonio.

To this day, Saglimbeni Fine Wines is San Antonio’s premier destination for fine wines, sprits, foods, cigars, and wine accessories.
